HOW IT WORKS

Install StepSense™ where its solar panel can receive direct sunlight during the day. The panel converts sunlight into energy for nighttime use. After dark, the built-in sensor activates the four LED lights when movement is detected.

Charging and lighting performance will vary according to sunlight exposure, weather, season, installation position and frequency of activation.

INSTALLATION TIPS

• Select a location that receives direct sunlight during the day.
• Avoid installing beneath roofs, trees or other heavily shaded areas.
• Position the sensor toward the area where movement should be detected.
• Secure the light firmly to a suitable outdoor surface.
• Keep the solar panel away from competing nighttime light sources where possible.
• Allow the light to charge in direct sunlight before evaluating its performance.

CARE INFORMATION

Keep the solar panel clean and free from dust, leaves and debris. Wipe the unit periodically with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the light in water or install it where flooding or standing water occurs.
