HOW IT WORKS

Place ZappGlow™ outdoors where its solar panel can receive direct sunlight. During the day, the panel converts sunlight into energy and charges the built-in battery.

Select the white-light setting when decorative illumination is preferred or the UV setting when supplementary flying-insect control is needed. The UV light attracts certain nearby flying insects toward the internal electric grid.

Charging, lighting duration and insect-control results will vary with sunlight, placement, weather, battery condition and local insect activity.

PLACEMENT AND OPERATING TIPS

• Position the solar panel where it can receive direct sunlight.
• Avoid locations beneath roofs, trees or heavy shade.
• For insect-control use, place the unit away from competing bright lights.
• Keep it a reasonable distance from seating and food-preparation areas so insects are drawn away from people.
• Allow the battery to charge fully before evaluating performance.
• Keep the solar panel clean and unobstructed.

CARE AND SAFETY

Switch the unit off before cleaning or handling the area surrounding the electric grid. Never touch the internal grid while the insect-control mode is operating.

Keep the product away from children and pets. Do not insert fingers, tools or other objects through the protective housing.

No verified water-resistance rating is supplied. Protect the unit from heavy rain, flooding, immersion and standing water. Clean the exterior and solar panel with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
